The Department of Computer Engineering offers 8 semesters course with a compulsory 1 Year project in the last year. Students are exposed to latest software and development tools as per the need of the day.
The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 1999 with the intent to provide quality education to young aspirants. The department is a pioneer in providing education in Computer Engineering. The department had an intake of 60 in 1999, and now the current intake for the undergraduate program is 180. The Postgraduate (PG) program in Computer Engineering has a student intake of 12. The department has had a Ph.D. research centre since 2025. All the UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs are affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). Students are regularly placed in top MNCs. Our students are pursuing higher education in top universities. The department encourages students to participate in various National and international-level competitions, project exhibitions, hackathons, IDE boot camp, sports events, and extra-curricular activities. Students have won awards in various competitions, including significant achievements in Smart India Hackathon, Boot Camp, and NEF Pune. The department is also assisting students in getting internships at placement companies with pre-placement offers.
