The Department of Information Technology was established with a vision to develop quality engineers to meet the current trends in the emerging world of IT. It is not based on an individual intelligence, but on the interacting intelligence of many. We have well qualified faculty members to impart knowledge to the students about the latest technologies in IT field. The IT labs are well equipped with necessary softwares.
The objective of Information Technology department is to equip students with latest skills in the area of IT technologies along with Practical Orientation to face challenges of modern data computing industry. We strive to make our students technically superior and ethically strong, who in turn shall advance the quality of life.
Experts from Industries are invited regularly to deliver lectures on latest trends to promote closer interaction between academics and Industry. To develop multidimensional personality of students, the academic studies are balanced with various co- curricular and extra-curricular activities. Our students have got great openings in multinational companies and many have completed their higher education in renowned universities. Department is fully dedicated to the enhancement and spread of knowledge in the field of engineering and technology.
The department of Information Technology has student’s association named ‘ITSA’ which has been successful in motivating the future technocrats by organizing various technical events. The ITSA has been organizing a State Level Technical event ‘Kshitij’, comprising of paper presentation competition, C – Programming and Web Designing Contest and technical seminars and has been receiving overwhelming response each year.
