The Prevention of Caste-based Discrimination Committee (PCDC) is committed to upholding the principles outlined in the University Grants Commission (UGC) letter, both in letter and spirit. The committee will ensure that no official or faculty member engages in any form of discrimination against students, faculty, or staff from any community or category. In accordance with the UGC’s directive, it is emphasized that officials and faculty members must refrain from discriminatory practices against SC, ST, and OBC students based on their social origins. The committee is tasked with hearing and addressing any complaints regarding caste-based discrimination at MVPS KBT COE, Nashik. At least one member of the committee will be from the reserved category. The committee will review complaints and make recommendations to the Principal, based on its findings. The Principal will then make the final decision and may establish an Enquiry Committee, if necessary, for further investigation. The committee will operate in accordance with relevant Acts, government regulations, and court orders, as applicable. The Principal has the authority to invite additional members to committee meetings, and may remove any committee member if a complaint is lodged against them.
