The Bachelor Degree Programme in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) launched in the 2023-2024 academic year with 60 seats, increasing to 120 in 2024-2025. This interdisciplinary curriculum integrates computer science with mathematical foundations, AI techniques, machine learning principles, statistical methods, and data science methodologies. Students acquire skills for data processing, analysis, and visualization in real-time applications, leading to career opportunities in sectors such as business analytics, healthcare, manufacturing, and e-commerce. Career options include roles like Data Scientist, AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Developer, and Research Scientist. The department aims to provide academic excellence, industry exposure, and outstanding career opportunities, supported by excellent infrastructure and computing facilities.
