The Department of Computer Engineering offers 8 semesters course with a compulsory 1 Year project in the last year. Students are exposed to latest software and development tools as per the need of the day.

The Department of Computer Engineering has fully equipped labs. All Labs have latest powerful Servers, Workstations, Printers, Scanners, CD Writers, Plotters etc. connected in Wi-Fi. Computer Center is available for internet access to all students of the department. Softwares for Database Management, Computer Graphics, Low Level Programming, Networking, Internet Applications, Multimedia etc. is used for developing customized applications. Fields of Specialization of the faculty are Artificial Intelligence, Computer Organization, Networking, Database Management Systems, Programming Languages, Computer Graphics, Microprocessors and Multimedia, etc.

The vision of the department is to impart quality technical education in Computer Engineering. To achieve this student centric approach is practiced by all faculty members. All the faculties have good expertise in their respective domains.

To educate and train undergraduate students in Computer Engineering by instilling excellence to fulfill professional and social requirements in business and industry on the platform of scientifically designed academic processes.

Student will able to :

PEO1:

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PEO2:

Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PEO3:
Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PEO4:

Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PEO5:

Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PEO6:

The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PAC

The Program Assessment Committee (PAC) has been formed for monitoring of Computer Engineering Departmental activities.

The PAC consists of faculty members and technical staff of the department who periodically monitors the departmental activities and evaluates different parameters.

Composition: The present composition of the PAC is as follows.

  • Evaluating program effectiveness and proposing necessary changes.
  • Preparing periodic reports on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for Management.
  • Motivating the faculty and students towards attending workshops, developing projects, working models, paper publications and engaging in research activities.
  • Interacting with students facilitating the achievement of POs, PSOs and PEOs.
  • Interacting with stakeholders regarding the improvement of POs, PSOs and PEOs.
